Stage racing is a good idea but I don’t like that at the end of each stage they continue to count laps. For example in the truck race last weekend the first stage was 45 laps the second stage was to be 50 laps. They ran 8 caution laps before the second stage was started. The fans lost 8 laps of racing. The 3rd stage was to be 55 laps. There was 6 laps of caution so in total the fans lost 14 laps of racing. This was suppose to be a 150 laps of racing. The cautions laps during the stage is ok but not between stages. The fans in this race lost 14 laps of racing. I believe NASCAR should rethink how they do this. I think they should stop counting laps between stages?
