I agree with most fans about how Austin Dillon won the race. But Hamlin and Lagano have won races in similar ways. How many times has Hamlin wrecked or pushed Larson out of the way for a win? Granted it was not as bad as what Dillion did, but Hamlin has taken similar actions. Lagano is not a boy scout.  The biggest one I remember happened a few years back when Lagano did the same thing to Matt Kenseth that Dillon did to him. Lagano has taken  similar action since. In the heat of the moment Lagano and Hamlin don’t remember those issues just that it happened to them.  Here is a quote from Dale Earnhardt ( I was just trying to rattle his cage!) End quote.

I saw a new Ford Mustang EV yesterday. It pulled up and parked across from me. The only way I new it was a Mustang was the mustang emblem where the grill should be. When it pulled away I noticed it was a hatchback. A mustang should be a coupe or fastback not a hatchback. Ford you blew it this is not one of your better ideas. I am not agents EV’s but this does not help there agenda. That’s all for now.

Most of the time things get better with age. The longer you wait to get some insurance like life insurance it cost you more. Ok I understand that but my car insurance went up and I called Direct Auto to ask why. This is what they told. I quote ” Because I am getting older my car insurance is going up” end quote. I have not had any type of accident in more than 30 years. I am 68 and because of that my insurance is going up. Had an issue with State Farm there answer was they just changed there policy. I am now looking for new car insurance. I will ask them about this before I get it. Other than that life is pretty good. Just had to vent.

Took my car in for service today and on the way home low tire sensor came on. Of course was almost home went it went flat. Also was on a country road all I had was the factory scissor jack. Cranked it up 2 inches and it sank 1 inch was a real pain. Took me 30 minutes to change the tire. I just had new tires put on a month ago. Good thing I purchased the road hazard warranty. That was my day. Hope everyone else had a good day.

Had a MRI today and it was the longest 55 minutes I can remember. They asked what kind of music I liked and played it for me. That made it some what better. The first 20 minutes was not bad it was the last 35 minutes. I didn’t think it was ever going to end. Is done and over with hope I never have to do this again.

Took Panda the the vet a few days ago because she was limping. She has not had a good year 6 months ago she had surgery on her right rear leg. She had tore the tendons in her leg and came thru it very well. The most recant was her right front leg. Found out she has arthritis. The vet gave her some medicine and she is doing a lot better. She still has a slight limp but it has got a lot better. I would be lost if anything would happen to her. For now everything is going in the right direction.

Last night at Daytona Chase had a change in the last 15 laps but could not keep the lead. Up until last night he had made it to the championship 7 years straight. He is young and has more chances to win championships. Now he can play the spoiler for the championship 16. I believe he will win this year there is no pressure now. Also he might think twice about snow boarding during the race season?

The first two segments was some what uneventful. The last segment was the best part of the race. The last two restarts was very exciting. The second to last restart Gibbs ran Mayer wide in turn one then a caution came out then on the last restart Mayer wheel hopped in turn one and turned Gibbs. In the interview after the race Gibbs was upset but if everyone remembers a year ago when he won the Xfinity championship he was turning people and wrecking them all year long. He said most of the time that’s racing. He has done the same thing this year in the Xfinity series. Mayer was just racing him the way he races others.

Since Chase has come back from his broken leg he has been struggling. He has had a few good races but not the finishes we are use to from him. At Michigan he crashed about half way thru the first stage. Granted he had a tire go down but in his interview after he came out of the care center he admitted they was not up to speed. Of the remaining races there are two he has the best chance to win the Indy and Watkins Glen road courses.
